wtf. who would put bleach on their skin? FACE!
Meh i have no clue how i got it.. No clue at all.. But yeah the doc put an iv into my arm and pumped steroids into me.. then gave me a perscription of steroids.. the swelling has gone down and soon i guess i will be back to normal.. Getting normal amounts of sleep rather than waking up screaming and losing my mind because it itches so bad
They say that bleach can dry out like pimples and stuff, so I guess some people might go, "HEY! Let's dry out the poison ivy!" Or something. I think they're both an old wive's tale.
Personally, I've had poison ivy I think once in my life. My body is really resiliant to skin-type rashes and parasites and stuff. Like the friends I've been hanging out with almost every day lately have skin mites, or...I don't know what they're called, but they're like chiggers and they make your entire body itch everywhere and leave red bumps on your skin if you itch.
Well, it started out with just one friend having it, then slowly all the people in the group (all...8 of us, haha) got it except for me and another friend.
Anyway, I've been having a really shitty 3 months. I've been so depressed lately, it sucks. I've cut down on my smoking even more, though, it seems. I've had this same bowl packed since 5 pm. I've taken 4 hits off of it, 2 at 5:30 and then another 2 at 8:30. Haven't smoked yet, and I don't know if I'm going to or not for a while.
Hope ALL our lives get a little better.
Meh chiggers can be taken care of by taking fingernail paint and allying it to infected region.. it suffocates them.. Tell your friends to do that.. Chiggers are small spiders than burrow under the skin.. They breathe thro the hole.. So suffocate them they be gone in a week
hey dude, dont us callamin lotion! it worsens the rash, i had poison oak VERY badly and they gave me steroid creme, but it was only 0.01%, so i went back and requested a petrouleum based 0.05% oitment, and bathed in this stuff made by "aveeno" and it went away.
Go to the a healthfood store and buy some oatmeal bath. Not the kind you eat...ask specifically for 'oatmeal bath' or something to make an 'oatmeal mask'. Follow the instructions and use that on your face. At the very least, it should reduce any feelings of itchyness. Best case scenario, it will also help to bring down the swelling.
Again...don't try to do this with a package of Qauker Oats, that won't work.
Big calhoun thanks.. The swelling went down.. The oatmeal works very nice.. Here is my face now.. Still gort a slight cast of poison ivy but almost no itch and no swellingQuote:
