This is my obsesion with the U.S. simian space program. And yes I know they were chips and not monkeys but spacechimp doesn't have the same ring to it.
:p
space programs? what a load of bullshit.. which president claimed that 1969 would be "the most important event in the history of mankind" or something like that. its so stupid
explain this to me.. why does the US government give the 'Space Program' a budget of hundreds of billions of dollars, but can only give $40,000 in foreign aid? I'll tell you why, because your government sucks and needs to sort out its priorities
sorry for that rant guys
But if the USA conquers planet Oiltopia, then it'll be able to buget more $$ into foreign aid...or use it to conquer other planets. Whichever, it's all good
~007~
maybe I'm mistaken but i coulda swore the U.S. spents something like tens of billions of dollars on foriegn aid last year and their gonna end up spending that or more this year and so on and so forth. Damn the democrat pinkos that make us waste money abroad! LoL
(way off topic :D )
Bescause at the time we felt it was crucial to beat the U.S.S.R. into the unknown. It was just a matter of competing with the other super power to show our strength. one good example of cold war. Now we are putting satellites up there and shit so we can have XM radio and spy on shit. I think the shit was pretty tight. Besides, it gave us some pretty usefull shit like weather satellites. We are still going up there I geuss because 1, we are already funding NASA , if we shut it down tons of people would loose their jobs, we're trying to learn more about where we came from and why things like solar eclipses happen and stuff. Back then going into space was big fucking shit, it seemed amazing to leave the earth to alot of people. Science rules. I'm still kind of pissed off that we won't send the replacement parts for the hubble telescope even tho we already paid for them...I do agree that now how ever we should be spending more money on the homeless and shit and less on space/military...Quote:

I choose to ignore the space/budget topic, and answer the original question: Zaratrhustra is the name of the hero in Friedrich Nietzsche's longest work. He travels around telling people that they should live their life how they feel is right, and to fuck society.
