Here's what you MUST do:
Study all the webpages above - do your homework on this, and find all the favourable parts. This will achieve two objectives:
1 - it'll show your parents that you are at least 'responsible' enough to research your habits, and
2 - will educate them, even if they still disagree with it's use :)
Tell them that you love them, and that you are sorry that you have let them down -and MEAN it!

Then it's up to you and them to move on from here
It's not gonna be easy, but at least they'll think that you are mature enough to approach this in an adult fashion, rather than rebel and turn into an asshole lol - that won't help anyone, least of all you.
