Hey all! :stoned:
My new project!
I've started a new project, 16 plants outdoors in a secret location, gets a lot of sun and is sheltered by the strong, cold winds we get here at this time of year.
My project consists of growing plants outdoors at such a cold time of year, mainly letting nature do it's thing rather than go visit them every day to see if, as i've read, MJ can withstand pretty much any type of environment.
If this project fails... doesn't bother me, Tis a test.
Materials:
-1.5ft x 1.5ft x 2ft wardrobe w/ flat white paint
-18 dank bagseeds (same as i'm using now)
-2 x 20w tornado CFL's (warm white)
-1 x 18w CFL (cool white)
-1 x 15w (cool white)
-3 x 6 plastic pots; each hole 2 1/2" x 2" x 3" deep.
-1 x Manual timer, set to 18/6 (on at 5am, off at 1am).
Would have it 24/0 but alot of light shows through, so i can sleep properly!
Have just put the 18 bagseeds in a small plastic container, filled with warm water waiting for them to germinate and put in the hot water cupboard, which keeps nice and warm, and always dark. Have also chucked a "bad seed" in there too(white), just for the hell of it. These seeds are quite quick to germinate, usually take about 10-20 hours for the taproot to emerge.
After they germinate, i plan on planting them ( 1/4 - 1/3 INCH DEEP THIS TIME! :o ) lol, in the plastic pot thingies shown in pic for about a week or more, then taking them in my car to this outdoor location.
Here are some pics so far...
Make sure to keep a close eye on how this project goes!
