you can get a ph test kit for abot 5 bucks at any pet store! don't harvest your ww's at 5 weeks. i always let mine go at least 10 sometimes even 11-12. ww gets better the longer you flower for(within reason) i am pretty sure it is ph prob. as well. i don't uderstand how people can get through a whole grow without testing ph. i tested ph of the water/ferts every time i gave anything to my plants. most fertilizers are way to acidic and after mixing up the fert solution the ph must be raised back up to around 6.4 with ph up before it is givin to the plants. also if you add 1-2 tbsp per gallon of dolimite lime to the soil when mixing it, you will have much more stable ph throughout the grow. a must if using a peat based mix imo. good luck!
If you were to ask me I would say your plants look to have K deficiency. If I recall correctly (been out of the growing game for some time) this will possibly induce the "PITA to stay lit" syndrome. In other words...ever get that pot that never stays lit unless your pulling on the joint?!?! Thats usually a K deficiency in the flowering stage and leads to plants looking the way yours does. Check soil PH and make sure you have no bugs...if all is good then supplement with a good fert that is higher in K. Could also be a slight Mg deficiency, but looks more like K.
I found it's a good thing to sprinkle a light amount of dolcimite towards the bottom of a container. Dump a few inches of soil, then pepper the lime around like Jimmy sprinkles! As the roots decend, and the acids sink...its a good way to prevent acid build up at the bottom of the container tween flushes.Quote:

Soon, you will get a PH meter, my young apprentice. You will quickly tire of the test kit process, and come to realize that meters aren't that expensive after all.
Are these getting enough Qxygen?
