I was a punk rocker anarchist in my youth, now just a libertarian with a lean to the right. As far as politicians are concerned, hell, they're past lawyers. I don't "trust" any of them! As for Bush, he was the lesser of the two evils to choose from in the past elections....in my opinion at least.

Love the punk rock. Friends with a couple of current, at least before the Kat, punker's bands, one is commie (Same values as us libers basically, but again no political future). so many variations now. Was friends with of the anarchist punk bands a few years ago. Skinhead variation, they just got a tad to rowdy and rude on occassion, had to go. Live a few blocks from the old, since Kat, Dixie Taverne (Was the punk rock place in NOLA). Had punk shows, hardcore, metal bands almost everynight one or two genres.
