You're all scared for such stupid bullshit... seriously... don't you people get it?
I know a man who has been using meth for years & he breaks out like that from time to time, but not on his face hardly. He has places on his back more often & they look like he had a pimple that he picked at alot (so it would leave scars). He will go for days on end without sleeping & eating. His looks havent changed as much as the pics on the above site, but he has slimmed down quite a bit. He has stated that he uses it because he likes to be on the move (always doing something) .
As for me I think I will stick to what grows natural...
Don't do Meth if you have no willpower...
Ya I saw that shit on PBS, it looks like the got hit in the face with a shovel. Just another reason why I wont touch meth, plus its real dirty, its got like ammonia, and drain cleaner, brake fluid, cough syrup, and other nasty shit.
Yeh I'm with coca-cola, what the fuck are you people buying in to?
Yes there's a universal cause for everything, and 99 problems out of 100, its drug related. Gosh darn those dirty meth-heads, thats why they have rottin teeth, thats why they live on the streets.....THE METH! Not cuz they're lazy, stinking bastards, who scrounge off benefits and think only of themselves!!!!! NOOOOOOO....all humans are good, and have a basic need to work toward the brotherhood, and drugs is what warps there mind.
Its like grotesquely obese people, I like food man, and I bet a lot of other potheads on this site enjoy the sweet/greasy munchies every now and again. Well, if I started to get fat, I'd say to myself "Shit, I'm gettin a bit of a belly on me, maybe I should cut down" Then, I'd exercise and loose the fat. Motherfuckers do NOT wake up one day 300lbs overweight and bed ridden. Methheads, do NOT just wake up one day, in a box, on the street, stealing from babies, with no teeth. Its a slow, dwindling descent that they are totally responsible for, even in the case of 3 months, imagine, the past 3 months of ure life, now imagine it without sleep, thats a long fuckin time, and a lot of thinking you can do, thats right, YOU, meth is an inanimate drug, that YOU, have to go out and look for, buy, burn up and inhale, or snort, to get the effect of. If you do it, its not cuz ure addicted, and 'can't go on with the pain anymore!!!!' its cuz you have made the well-educated decision, of lighting up the meth pipe, and carrying on ure high. You've thought good and well about ure face, ure smell, the state of the apartment, we all do, becuz that seems to just go with the territory of being human nowadays, especially if uve grown up in suburban America, where the philosophy of 'Get a fucking job! Buy a better gadget', was born and bred, and uve made the decision 'Fuck it! I feel better doing this, than bothering with all that shit that goes with functioning in society today'.
The fact that if feels like u have bugs underneath ure skin if you don't get a hit every now and again, would prompt most people to say, 'Maybe I should lay off for a while, since, I don't remember having bugs underneath my skin before, and they seem to chill when I hit the pipe, this seems to be forming a vicious cycle' just like the fat fuckers, won't put down the tub of ice cream, and go eat a ham and lettuce sandwich or something, they see themselves puttin on 20lbs every week, and they still scoff down ice cream tub after lard bar, and its only when there own legs have collapsed beneath them, that they turn around and say 'Help me! I'm a good person! I don't know whats got in to me the past couple of months! BUT Now! I'm gonna change, I've realised that it was controlling my life ' And every1 swoons, and sympathisizes, and then wonders why drug addicts and the like are putting a strain on everybody, errrr, probly cuz you keep fucking helping them. If you fed an animal, would you call the animal stupid for coming back to ure home, awaiting food? No, we have a tendency to push shit as far as it will go, if u don't punish bad behaviour, don't expect anybody to know what behaviour is acceptable, any of you would happily accept scraps if u were starving, a broke, homeless, person, would happily accept money, from anybody, cuz there is shit that is quite simply, much more important than the morale behind what you are doing, especially when it results in personal benefit. You want to help these people, leave em be, they'll eventually run out of money, at which time they'll die, or get better, the ones that get better, I doubt will ever want to let themselves get in to that situation again, and the ones that die, are dead, they made there own shit, and now they're lying in it, you reep what you sow etc etc..
Don't blame the drug, you can think whatever thoughts you want, but there is giant leap in the energy expended from thinkin hypothetically, and actually doing, which I don't think a drug has the power to do.
Dangit! You took my thunder. lol. Yeah, I've first-hand seen the shit meth can do to someone and it is not pretty. BTW, casual meth use doesn't exist. You either do a *ton* of it, or you don't.Quote:

I'm not serious, btw. Well, not that serious.

Why do people start using methamphetamine?
A: Athletes and students sometimes begin using meth because of the initial heightened physical and mental performance the drug produces. Blue collar and service workers may use the drug to work extra shifts, while young women often begin using meth to lose weight. Others use meth recreationally to stay energized at "rave" parties or other social activities. In addition, meth is less expensive and more accessible than cocaine and users often have the misconception that methamphetamine is not really a drug.
Q: What other long-term effects can result?
A: Fatal kidney and lung disorders, brain damage, liver damage, blood clots, chronic depression, hallucinations, violent and aggressive behavior, malnutrition, disturbed personality development, deficient immune system, and methamphetamine psychosis, a mental disorder that may be paranoid psychosis or may mimic schizophrenia.
Q: How does methamphetamine take over one's life?
A: Methamphetamine short-circuits a person's survival system by artificially stimulating the reward center, or pleasure areas in the brain. This leads to increased confidence in meth and less confidence in the normal rewards of life. This happens on a physical level at first, then it affects the user psychologically. The result is decreased interest in other aspects of life while reliance and interest in meth increases. In one study, laboratory animals pressed levers to release methamphetamine into their blood stream rather than eat, mate, or satisfy other natural drives. The animals died of starvation while giving themselves methamphetamine even though food was available.
