I know how you feel but the grass is always greener on the other side (no pun intended)
When you are young, you always want to be older. When I was 13, I wanted to be 16, when I was 16 I wanted to be 18 and so on and so forth.
This is what comes with being an adult -
Hundreds of pounds worth of rent to pay a month, electricity bills, gas bills, telephone bills, internet bills, council tax bills & mobile phone bills.
You need to go out and buy your own food, I had no idea just how expensive food was till I moved out when I was 17, and unfortunately my job didnt pay enough therefore I had to go hungry, yip - no lunch, no dinner - I lost about 2stones in weight (28lb) at 17 because I just could not afford to pay rent AND eat.
You dont think about these things when your living at home with your mum and dad taking shit for granted, helping yourself to food when you feel like it.
If you cant afford to pay your bills, which is likely if you live somewhere where the cost of living is very high (UK!) you will get debt collectors constantly hassling you for payment, threatning court action,.stressing you out. I've been through all that shit and its not nice.
Even if you hate your job, you cant just get up and leave because where will the next rent payment come from? How will you feed yourself if you dont have a wage?
All these things to worry about - please please PLEASE just enjoy your time while you can and enjoy having barely any worries or finincial difficulty.
Everyone wishes they could go back to their childhood so to see a 14 year old wishing he could be an adult, well, its frustrating!
Just chill and enjoy your youth, you only get 1 shot at it
