The new Tool album is a joke.

haha...you are telling it like you see it! I don't have an opinion on them because I have never even heard of a band called tool until I read this thread... is there really a band called tool...google time just for curiosity now.

Sorry, I won't just listen to ANYTHING. Certainly Tool's new album is not worthy for such praise... but oh it's gonna get it from all the brainwashed fans... except the critics are going to beat this album into the ground. Casue they know what to look for... Yeah, I'm critical about music... Why shouldn't I be allowed to be critical? At least it's not like I'll like any shit my favorite band puts out just becasue it's my favorite band.

after listening to this album again, it really isn't as good as lateralus or undertow. I mean it's good and all, it just doesn't really compare to the greatness of their older albums.

i like the album but the only problem i have with it is the vocals get overpowerd by the instruments im thinking its due to the 210 bit rate tool deserves to be listened to in 320 bit rate im downloading another release of the album maybe it will have better audio quality and i can actually hear maynards vocals other than that i get pretty pumped from the song jambi it got me so pumped i threw my body against my book shelf and now i have to clean up this huge mess

I like it so far. I've been meaning to take it to the beach and lay out and listen but that hasn't happened yet. Maybe I have bad taste, but maybe I don't care. If ya enjoy it, then enjoy. If you don't then don't listen. That's my 2 cents.

This post explains my dislike for the album. It's far from unlistenable, as it blows shit out of most of the other crap that's out now but... Tool is one of those bands that just don't know when to stop and realize that their music is starting to suck... like Korn.

I love Tool's old songs, they used to be really good..

I downloaded some of the songs, honestly, they sounded like a couple of 13 year old's trying to make a Tool coverband.

The Pot sounds like the most retarded 6 minutes of sounds i've heard in my life, sounds like kids yelling out subliminal messages.

Don't even get me started on Right in Two, sounds like they tried mocking an ancient ritual or something, they just got someone to squeel and follow some stupid cheap drumbeat.

10,000 days the song itself sounds like what I can play when I'm stoned out of my mind and can't think of anything to play, incredibly sloppy and dull, the singer sounded like he was shoving his scrotum up his ass...

I used to be a Tool fan, but this album made the Goonies album look good(if there even was one).
