Does weed make you cough?

i'll cough sometimes, like right now im just getting over a chest cold and im coughing up green and yellow blobs. but i can always control whether i cough or not when im smoking. i used to smoke TONS of chronic, i went thru like $1000 worth of chronic in a little under 2 weeks,

i got a phlemmy throat and shit because i smoke cigs, so that makes me cough all the time, i cough when i take hits that are pushing it for my lung capacity, but thats the only way.... except for once in a while i blow my hit out than cough afew seconds later for some reason... oh well..

Like most of the others here have said, I hardly ever cough any more. The only thing that makes me hack is a huge bong rip. I can smoke a blunt to the head and not cough once. :stoned:
