carving my own pipe

Sweet man, I've been thinking about doing this myself. I want to make a big fat bowl on it that's at least twice the size of my current glass pipe. What kind of wood did you use?

i just found it.
i assume any will work. (its is not very piney/cedarey) (if cedarey is a word)
