I actually find this shotgun thing neat and would do it myself if i had a shotgun that i could do it out of. Dont know how to handle a gun? no problem, then dont touch one....

Yeah, it's Vietnam. Hello people. The soldiers were driven to do way more fucked up things than smoke pot out of a shotgun. Not only that, but did anyone stop to consider that it's just as dangerous going to war while stoned? When you know that you will be handling a loaded firearm and there will be people shooting at you and trying to kill you? When you are in such a fucked up situation, you try to find ways to forget and entertain yourself. I personally wouldn't do this, but the fact that these guys did it doesn't bother me a bit.

Every single one of them thought the gun wasn't loaded.

I am sure those guys knew how to clear that shotgun. That thing has been attached to his body for about a year. So he knows it inside and out. You can also see him clearing it and everyone is watching him do it in the video.

i agree with many people here they knew how to clear gun barrels they were just trying to get rid of the crap thatw as going through there heads about the war i PERSONALY wouldnt like to do it 1:cus i do not have any knowledge of guns and 2:cus i would have no chance of being able to clear a gun because i have never once handeled one but for the people on here who want to try it if you ever have the chance report to us about it i would like to know how it went but i do not recomend anyone doing this if they have no knowledge of guns

Anyways, I have a completely irrellevent and stupid air gun story (it's irrellevent because I'm untrained and this was an air gun): I brought an air gun to a birthday party and we shot each other for a while. It ran out so I reloaded the clip with around fifteen BB's and reloaded it, but it jammed. Because I'm untrained, I cocked it again and again trying to shoot it out. It was completely jammed so I just took the clip out, but there were no BB's in the clip!, and gave it to my friend. I said watch out because when it does shoot it'll shoot all of them out. About five hours later and after shooting it maybe 300 times my friend had it to a kids head and it shot all of them out and made the kid totally freak out. I couldn't stop laughing for like 5 minutes.
