just got busted by parents

i've been caught twice... not actually smoking, but with weed and stuff...

the first time my parents were looking around in my purse because they saw a pack of cigs (which they hate and always bitch at me for smoking), and lo and behold i had my pipe and weed in the cigarette box..

the second time was completely my own stupid fault... i was smoking in my room one night when everyone was in bed, and i hid my pipe in a drawer in my dresser... and forgot i put it in there... and a few days later my mom was looking for some clothes and found the pipe.

see my parents have a problem.. they are always going through my stuff... which i can't really complain too much about because they are paying for me to go to school and stuff... but still, it sucks. as soon as i get a better job, i can start paying for my stuff myself so that they have no authority over me.

they also flipped out when they found the stuff... like screaming at me and stuff like that...

it definitely sucked.

and tell them also that you are scared of harder drugs, usually parents fear weed so much just because it is looked upon as a "gateway" drug

and last but not least let them know you have a connect that you trust, and that your very unlikely to get into trouble with

i jsut need to make the money that i spent back... i think that will help.

when i had just started smoking weed, i was smoking a j by my self in my room. My step father comes home like 6 hours early from work, and busts me. He takes my shit (little less than an 1/8), then gives me the speech. "this stuff is bad"......... blah blah blah right. takes it and pretends to flush it down the toilet. two weeks later the same thing happends, exept this time he takes the joint out of my hand and hits it........ looks at me, the goes "what? did you expect me to do, if i can't beat you i might at well join ya" then he goes down stairs and gets my bag he "flushed" and hands it back to me. the whole time i was dumb founded, cause this is not like my step father at all. we've had fist fights over cookies, i thought i was dead.

ok the whole "don't give in to your parents" advice is uhm..stupid.

you have to give in to your parents when you are living with them and are a minor. Also we dont know the whole story behind your parents and their rules, you do. I've had parents, I've also lived in the real world for a whle now and I find that people are more willing to trust you, deal with you, work with you if you meet them halfway. Since you already fucked up huge, you now have to walk the line the draw for you until they trust you and are willing to work with you again.
If you are a good person with good grades, a clean room, and a bright future who gets high....they will focus more on your good qualities since they outweigh that one bad thing.

well now they made an appointment to take my to that drug rehab shit and take a drug test on friday.. i need to stay at the gym (i am home schooled) work the fuck out on the treadmill and drink a few gallons of water so i might not test poso.... is there any way to get the thc out in a week if u are desperate??

When was the last time you smoked and how often? How much do you weigh and how much do you exercise?

Untrue. Many aren't capable of this kind of reasoning, specially moms from what I know. They will say its illegal that thats it, nobody should ever do it because its morally wrong, etc... or at least my mom does.

i never bother lyng to my parents now (i don't tell em some things, but i hardly ever lie to them), i just can't be arsed tbh...

this is exactly true... i graduated from HS with a 4.0 gpa, i got a full scholarship to a good private school, i have been on the dean's list since being here, i have a good job working with low-income kids... most people would say that i'm a "good" person... and it doesn't matter to my parents because they just see weed as bad. so as long as i smoke, no matter how true the other stuff is, they only focus on my smoking and not other good qualities i have.
