In reality, the phrase "purple haze" came from a science fiction novel Hendrix was reading at the time, written by Philip Jose Farmer.

We use to get acid called "triple dipped", I saw Heaven that night, for $5 a hit.

Then the blue microdot. We'd snort that and everything would have an echoe. Even in the smallest of rooms...like hotboxing a car. :)

Then I have had stuff that had one of those punk rock stars on it, one with an Anarchy sign, and one with an Omega sign on it. I took all 3 at once it sucked balls. :p

That's not entirely true... he was afraid of harder drugs and shit... and didn't really do too many drugs at all. But c'mon... he has done Acid. Everyone knows that. Prolly not as often as people would think but still...

there is a strain of weed called purple haze but not when JH wrote the song he was making reff. to LSD which may I add was very good could trip you out for weeks on end :smokin: No only kiddin but 10hrs plus was not uncommon:thumbsup:
