Subcool and TGA Strain Guide!
Vortex
A-13 X Space Queen
This strain got kinda over looked mainly because I am entering JTR in the cup and have only grown this strain out for head stash and then cropped it to make room for others. Field results are coming in now and I had held beck annoucing another Elite strain but I have to say Vortex qualifies. Stability is the word in the streets and I can atest to devastating potency.
Lets look at her maiden run

This weed is really over the top combining two of my favorite head stashes,
Having a smell similar to Genius but with a faint putrid baby poo under smell. It has a great eye buzz and the second hit slams you in the skull and says hey your stucking foned.
Prefering mild soil or light feeding it does well with straight water and 3/4 strength super soil.
Finishing in about 55 days she is completly covered in resin.

These pictures are from a TGA friend again I will let him identify himself if he would like. He reported 6 females are mirror copies of each other.
I love these pics the best obviosly I have a photo room and total access to each strain so I can capture em at peak but you can tell by these shots even though this was a very nice set up and this guy knows his stuff you can see the strain just drips with resin.

Vortex (Apollo-13 X Space Queen)
My oldest head stash crossed with my new favorite. Both have similar pungent, rotten fruit, baby poo smells. Both carry heavy potency and copious amounts of resins. This combination of Cannabis Freaks wonâ??t win any vigor or yield awards but for serious collectors of recessives this is a must have. Expect weird mutations and incredibly sticky freaks of nature. This hybrid tends to grow like a vine and need serious tending to achieve decent yields. I yielded just over 4 Ounces in soil using lots of plant bondage and training. This strain is offered mainly to collectors who have experienced the high or unique smell of either parent. This is not a strain for someone new to indoor growing or large scale grows looking for big production. It is a strain that with luck you can find a once in a lifetime mom for head stash. Brothers Grimm meet Vic High in a genetic soup that is one for the history books. Look for colas to dreadlock out and almost appear seeded they swell so full.
Reports from test grow are extremly stabilty and great potency and taste.
Thanks to Petfish for his hard work and these new pics!
1. Phenotypes -Large variation with phenotypes like both parent strains
2. Height-Short, vine like, weak stems, long internodal spacing
3. Yield-Medium/ Very hard to trim
4. Indoor Only
5. Best Way to grow- Wide sagging bush with hundreds of bud sites. Lots of stakes and string
6. Harvest Window-45-55 days
7. Sativa/ Indica 80/20
8. Hybrid-Genius X P75 X Romulan X Cindy99
9. High type-heart racing, energizing, confusing, stoned, ripped curled under, stupidity
10. Smells like Mango Snapple with lemon/ Taste like sweetened lemonade.
11. Very unique Cindy like plant with a bizarre twist, very potent

We ahve a few cool posters in our office and one day as the sun light came in through the window I was able to capture these cool shots.
I had these as my wallpaper for ever.
I think thats all I can tell you about this girl. With training she yielded well but not some 7 zipp plant. We got 3-4 ounces with the seed mom and the clone run. She likes to flop around a good bit and leans toward being more A-13 than Space Queen.

Howdy SubCool,
Most excellent !
I was wonderin,is the P75 that's part of this strain,Princess75 ? I once grew out some P75 x NL #5 and A11 x NL#5,the beans were given to me by a friend of Mr. Soul and it was a most unique experience, growin em out and tokin em. :D The Apollo, tasted like sweet lemon creme and I preferred the high to the P75,because it gave me more of a grin. The P75,was more intense and racy, whereas the Apollo made me more laid back.
It sure is nice to know that you are solidly behind this strain, and that you treasure and appreciate it's unique quality's
Have a good one !:stoned:
