Some random kid in your school is NOT and I mean NOT going to give you a gram of purple haze. If it is truley purple haze(which it isn't) then he wouldn't be throwing it around do to the massive hole burned in his pocket to get that. Purple haze isn't around anymore. Yes, there are hybrid plants around, but that isn't purple haze.
Oh, btw. That is unreal looking bud. Props.
i haze that turns purple not indeed purple haze? some of you seem a little thick-headed....... :stoned:
Yes and no? If you drop a Haze bud into a bunch of red dye it is indeed a red Haze bud but it is not a new strain called Red Haze. Same principle.Quote:

So really what it looks like is that we're probably all right. There was a distinct strain called Purple Haze in the '70's that wasn't very good and is now extinct. There is apparently one or more new strains called Purple Haze that are going around, most likley just crosses of something Purple done by a grower trying to capitalize on the name. And finally, Haze subjected to low temps could go purple and be sold at exorbitantly high prices as the famous "Purple Haze".
DUDE, i dont know what to do with you lolQuote:

All I am saying is that there was, and apparently is again, a distinct strain called Purple Haze. This means that it was genetically inclined to turn purple and the coloration was not just based on the temperature. This is what most people are talking about when they say "Purple Haze". Think about it, if all you needed to do to get Purple Haze was to grow Haze and drop the temp don't you think every god damn grower out there would do it in order to jack up their prices?Quote:

No one is saying that there is no way that it is purple haze, all we're saying is that "purple haze is just haze that's grown in northern cali.... the climate causes the buds to go purple late in the season" is completely false. You may have the original strain, you may not. 1 time out of 10000000 you will have THE original strain, but most likely you don't.
lol, u guys are a kick
now hush so i can smoke this joint of purple haze
