dai*ma if someone u know was to make the stupid mistake of driving drunk regardless of it being their fault...would u still feel ok about it if someone told u that ur friend deserved to die and they are happy he is dead??? no u wouldnt like that, it may be someones fault when they do these things but that doesnt mean u have to tell their friends or loved ones that it is ia good thing they are dead....if someone told me some shit like that i might just kill them on the spot.... so u should watch ur mouth if u want to keep it (not a threat so dont get ur internet undies in a bunch)

An argument isn't going to prevent any more death, just produce more hatred.
Though I think it's already been explained that this guy wasn't drunk, I know a few people who have been known to drive after a few drinks. It's a STUPID decision. It really is. We all make stupid mistakes. Instead of playing the blame game, why don't we try to prevent more mistakes?
I'm sure everyone here is aware that drinking and driving is bad. Let's encourage others not to get killed. Don't drink and drive. Even one or two drinks, though it may be legal, kills people.
I think the other thing that may be a factor in this death (though I can't be sure) is smoking weed and driving.
A LOT of people think it's perfectly safe to smoke and drive, and there are lots of conflicting studies. I know I've done it before, and a lot of other people have.
Maybe that's something productive we could all do. I've been so high I can't operate the television remote, so logically I know it can't be safe to operate a ton of metal at 60mph.
Even if you CAN drive okay while stoned, even sober people crash, and if you get in an accident and you just HAPPEN to have some THC in your system, you only add to the case against marijuana.
I was actually the first of my little group of stoner friends to say "Hey, maybe we should just take the bus or walk". That was about one month ago. At first everyone looked at me funny and just said "YOU can fucking walk", but as I started to recruit more and more people, I don't think I've ever had more fun smoking weed. Every time we smoke it's an adventure. We meet TONS of new people all the time. Also, I've probably lost 10 pounds (I didn't really think I had a weight problem before, but I feel good so I can't complain).
Also, we have a "designated driver" rotation that applies to pot, alcohol, or any other drug we decide to do. Most of the time nobody has a problem being the designated driver because the driver gets free gas, food, concert tickets, movies, or whatever we're doing that night from the rest of us. Also, when we're smoking a bowl the green hit always goes to the last designated driver.
Just a thought. Anyone agree with me here?

MJ is categorically a perception altering drug, so it follows that driving while stoned is not a responsible thing to do. It's an offense that should not be decriminalized.

Just wouldn't feel right.
I dont think i could either man, i might even save it to remember him by or something.. but if i smoked it, i wouldnt feel the least bit happy.
Man that is terrible what happened i dont like thinkinga bout what would happen if one of my friends died, i feel for you man, as do many here. RIP
As for dai*ma, i understand how you feel as well, you have a right to feel how you feel, however you cant blame someone for making a mistake, yes that mistake will have great consequences but to error is human, to forgive that is devine (yes i quoted starsky and hutch :) ). there is no reason to rub this tragedy in his face. Compassion is not a weakness man.
