And nothing pisses me off more than little kids being non-descriptive in horror movies. Like, the parents need to know who skinned the dog alive and the dumb little fuckers are just like, "The man did."
Oh, the man. Thanks. Thanks for all your help. Dumb little skank. GET A JOB!
i see you are kinda up there with the horror flicks. argento fan?Quote:

I liked the first Alien flick. It was released in '79 and a lot of folks went to see it for the sci fi aspect but got the shit scared out of them. It was filmed in the true horror/suspense genre in part by not allowing a good view of the alien until the end of the movie. Only a quick glance from time to time or a shadow or a tail just before the kill. I was on the edge of my seat through most of the movie the first time I saw it and it takes a lot to cut through the haze in my brain. Most horror films(and all the other genre's as well) are so predictable it's ridiculous. And it's beginning to take a toll on Hollywoods wallet. Which is funny.
i know what you mean bonsai, they dont leave anything up to imagination anymore. they want to explain everything. the reason i dug the original dawn of the dead is cuz they never explained where "it" came from. it was totally left up to the viewer.
I don't think they ever answered that question in the alien movies. I suppose that will be the next sequel...Alien 5(or whatever they're up to):Birthplace..or Origins or something like that. That way they don't have to pay for Sigourney to come back yet again.
its good cuz it keeps the viewer guessing. thats smart film making.
hes pretty talented with tha whole macabre paradigm. my older cuz had shown me 'inferno' back in the day n i guess it struck a chord. but those are the only two films of his i've seen, really wanna check out 'creepers'Quote:
