I've won a couple times, lost a couple times and it is ok either way although there may be a better way to do it in the future.
If you want to give ups to your friends or people on boards you like then you should do that without making it a contest. The way this is worded, some people are bound to feel left out and resentful.
It's cool though dude, it happens all the time anyways. Next time just tell them directly you think their cool. ;) That keeps the rest of us from thinking we aren't.
