ya gotta consider everything like longevity, job security, etc... and decide whats right for you personally.
while school is definately not for everyone, and requires some BS classes that you won't use in the real world, it is still far from being a waste of time.
it CAN be a waste of time, if ya pay all that money to go and end up partying too much and failing out... then it's a HUGE waste of time lol. again, it's not for everyone... but it can benefit anyone who wants to go.
my dad has just been promoted to the head of his area.. which is basically the whole state where he works. if he had a degree, in anything completely unrelated to what he actually does, it could be basket weaving or political science or game boy, he would have got that promotion years ago, just for looking better on paper. it's all about the paper, shitty, but true.
