i'm not christian, infact, i don't even believe in God...mentally anyway. spiritually - i feel it. no matter how much my mouth blurts out the words, "i don't believe in God", my heart says otherwise. i suppose we will all see.

ok tell me, how am i supposed to stop learning about god when my tv is covered in this christian crap, random stupid people run up to me and start teaching me about this shit i dont' believe in and when i tell them not to or try to leave they only yell it louder or follow me "praying for my soul" how am i not supposed to learn it when it's fuckin literally everywhere? name on common thing that is there more than idiotic people forcing their opinions on people, and calling it a religion? i can tell you right now you can't. you can go anywhere, ANYWHERE doesn't matter where and there is some program telling you about god, some movie about god, some idiot blurting his useless opinions, some book written by man, some quote on some shitty plaque some company mass produces not because they believe people need the quotes in their live but becasue they want money. imo the ONLY reason any organization (company, group of people, church w/e) even "believes in god" anymore is to market it. buisness put out stupid crap that some stupid person goes and fills their house with, churches take in way more money than they need to take care of the costs of the church and even more than they donate to people that need help, and i can't tell you how many damn groups of people i've heard that aren't a church or a buisness that ask for donations "in the name of the lord". also every once in awhile i get some idiot coming to my door trying to preach to me. so tell me, how can i escape learning about it? it's supposed to be seperated from governemnt which it's not, supposed to be seperated from school, which it's not. no matter where you go there it is, right in your damn face whether you like it or not. and yea i usually don't have a problem with christians i usually ignore them the best i can, but i kind of got aggervated when you told me to stop learning so much about a god i don't like or pray to or even believe in w hen it's completely 100% in-escapable unless you live on your own private island seperated from anything resembling other people or civilization. to me god is nothing more than an infestation.

I'm not sure how your life is and who can get their slimy words forced in your ears. Don't go listening to preachers, unless you want to worship them. That's all everyone is doing anyways. They're worshipping the words "Of the Lord" out of the body of Preacher on TV. So, essentially, you're heeding the words of some-guy-from-Earth, and respecting him as if he was God, himself. I'll show up at God's sermon, if he ever gets his ass down here, but to listen to people who were brought up to yak their heads off, and listen to others' interpretations of Words from a 2000 year old book (in which I interpret in my own manner), then listen to the lessons in life that they have to share, and more things with commas attached.

I don't know where you live, but I've never had a bible-thumper run up to me and start preaching away. My old girlfriend's brother published literature in NYC for a Jehovah's Witness program, he was a year older than me. He stopped buy to preach and for the next few weeks, he'd come over and chill on my porch, while I smoked weed. We'd talk about God, a lot, but basically I wanted him to listen to me, while he instilled his ideas in my head. My God is every God combined.

well then your lucky, here you can't escape it period. sure i can turn off the tv and try to block out what they're saying. fact still remains that some of that shit goes into my head. whether i like it or not, i remember some of that shit, and i'd rather not. if i could i'd erase god my memory completely but i can't. you make it sound like i want to know what i know, i don't believe any of it, not one word of it so why would i want to know? there are some people who don't worship god or accept him as their god, yet in their heart the still believe (even home dude up above said so) i'm not one of those people...not even in my heart or my deepest thought do i ever even have a sliver of doubt he's noting more than a myth.

when something is stated, repeatedly, and a huge majority of people follow that "thing" (stated), many people will learn of it, weather they like it or not, they can either chose to implore or ignore.


the question at hand is weather or not slipknot is imploring, ignoring, or conflicted between the two?
