CANNABIS DOWNGRADED TO CLASS B (maybe)

It doesn't matter that they contradict themselves. People see a report like this, with the word Cannabis along side words such schizophrenia, depression, paranoia, etc, and they'll automatically link the two. Even if they forget about this article by next week and somebody asks them about Cannabis they'll straight away think of schizophrenia, depression and paranoia. Then if the government asked the people to vote, or what they think about Cannabis, all these words that they now associate with Cannabis for no reason other than seeing them together will pop into their mind and they'll vote against Cannabis. That's how it works. They don't give a shit that they're contradicting themselves.

Wow, Ghost ma' man, that makes so much sense, you are right about why people hate weed.. you changed my whole views of why people hate it, i thought it was 'cause of the fact that they think it gives mental illnesses, and my mum thinks it's 1000 times worse than cigs ( :rolleyes: ), but that was a good explanation saying that they just see the words together and remember it:D

The idea is your Mum and others will not even get to that ridiculous report, or understand its flaws, they will read what is in the Murdock papers and that is scandal stuff. It makes much better gossip that someone is hooked on a terrible monkey than to gossip that someones son is sitting back, kind, happy and having a nice time. The newspapers run by the same credit that the government runs on who are you going to believe? Who are the Mums going to believe? I think the Mums forgot that governments are not above a nasty.
