Thats what I did......I have a small cheap wooden one.....and I love it.....so I know I'm really gonna love this one....now I'm trying to decide wether I can part with the cash.

I grind my weed when it is moister than I prefer. If you're weed is fresh, grind it. If it is properly dried and cured, don't. There just isn't any need.
ground up weed packs perfectly but you have to have enough, you cant try to pack one of those '2-3 hits before work' bowls you gotta pack the whole thing :D and it hits sooooo smooooth :cool: heres my grinder its not quite that dirty yet but i hope it gets that way :D gonna wait till the kif catch is almost full and line a few blunts with it

The stainless steel ones are good too they clean well butlike you said they last for years but i found it to b on the smll side
my favourite is my wooden grinder which i mopdified after loosing pins (i cut the heads of nails and hammered it in). Its was my 1st grinder and will b my last :) it holds allot of bud, grinds it perfectly and cost me £3
