ohhh im really stoned, it is fusion not fission. current nuclear power is by fission which is spliting the atoms, fusion is combining (spelling?) them together which gives off much more energy.

Those graphics in that link were the shit. Did you hit the 'compare to fission' button?
yeah, and FUSION yields 676 where as FISSION yields 176
With fusion, the conversion to energy is 4.98 m per kg fuel, fission is 235.8
I'm drunk so I'm copying this with goggles on.
no thats for one atom and since the uranium is MUCH larger it releases much more energy, hydrogen is MUCH MUCH smaller therefore it releases less energy per atom but when compared by weight the fusion yields much more energy..in that diagram where it says Conversion to energy per kg fuel, that means that is what that step of the equation is doing
I said before that I chose Earth Science over Physics. And that I copied that with goggles on. Don't make me pull the blanket over my head and embarass me with the table of elements, or anything.
lol, sorry man, wasnt trying to do that at all.
Why would they say fission is the process they'd use for this 'bucket of water' trick, then?
