what world government are you talking about?
it's time to get back to your real motherland;)
I don't really get the point you are trying to make....you seem to be reflecting a lot of what I have already said in other posts...
what war on drugs? drugs will always be around just like politicians who are eager to make money by selling weapons...... and guess what, your government prefers to spend money on chasing 'terrorists' and 'drug dealers' while the poor get poorer and the rich get richer... NO SHIT.
As far as I know the UN is not just represented in the US
http://www.un.org/aroundworld/map/
what war on drugs? <-----the one being waged against medical MJ users and other innocent people that are killed in drug raids...did you miss that thread too?
http://blogs.salon.com/0002762/stori...arVictims.html
drugs will always be around just like politicians who are eager to make money by selling weapons...... AGAIN I say NO SHIT! so are you agreeing with the post I have already made or what?
let me tell you what, (and sorry if it may sound weird), no matter how hard you bang your asses on the pavement and elect a different president in every election, this situation will never change....
So I guess we are too just lie down and take it? Forgive me but I don't understand your reasoning....
now, tell me really, do you think that your government cares about the people who actually live in the USA? it seems to me that it 'cares' more about the 'liberty' of Iraqis, the 'rights' of the Vietnamese and the homeless in Uganda (hehehehe)....
as if your countrys' internal problems are all solved....as if you have no people dying on the streets (hanger, crimes and drugs), as if your public education and public care is #1 in the world....
I never said this....and I suggest you search my name and read my posts ...you are really off on this one...or maybe I am really misunderstanding you......
As for my statement use the UN...maybe I did not make myself clear.....I said we could use the UN for our elections (which I think were rigged) by asking them to oversee our election like they do in other countries we would get more international attention and thus it will be harder to rig the election AGAIN.
I don't understand your rudeness.
We are at war and we need conservative mind-sets to git-r-done..after the grown-ups have secured our national security..maybe we can go back to dabbling in social engineering. I'm going to join the MPP here in Texas, and see if we can git HB 658 passed, the medical need defense bill.
SO what was your excuse for voting for him the first time around....
Bush is against weed legalization...and the battle is only going to get worse....
If you like Bush so much why don't you go back to the freeper site where you belong.....traitors to the weed should not be welcome here. even more so as the battle is heats up.
we're on the verge of scrapping the constitution all together and exchanging it for a martial law dictatorship (tommy franks said that, too) to keep us safe from the evil freedom hating muslim terrorists...we've got to give up our rights to protect our rights!
double plus good!
weed should be the least of our worries. seriously though, all drugs should be legal, all of them. it probably will never happen...the feds mean business when they protect their drug cartels.
It is not the least of MY worries...and this is a CANNABIS site...
For some people weed is a Necessity for life.
blue cat
i am not trying to be rude here, morover as i am a foreigner (greek) i think that nor my spirit or my humour/irony can be clearly understood
excuse if my english sound a bit simple and primitive to you or i make spelling mistakes as well
i really sympathize you guys, honestly i have nothing against no-one here
i totally agree with you and your posts
the point i am trying to make is that the situation on drug policies will never change as large amounts of money are on the table, and, usually the largest amounts of money flow under that table;)
it is not on the interest of any american government to legalize MJ, even for mediacl purposes, even though it would be clinically proven that MJ helps against migraines/headaches/appettite enhancer/back pains and muscle related pains...
the pharmaceutical industry would lose money
the tobacco industry would lose money
and i am not talking on your national level here only, if you set the example many other countries are surely going to follow it
so in other words we're talking about billions of dollars in loses every year....
so what i am saying is that your government does not really care for the welfare of the citizens so much
as for the UN, sure it's being represented in every country in the world, but, the point i'm trying to make is that if you can't control your elections then again you are a bit hopeless as the UN is based in the USA and therefore it is influenced (in a way) by the american government more than it should....
always remeber, politics is a dirty game that it's usually played under the table and usually the winner of this game is the rich countries that are ivolved in it;)
it's the money that makes things happen as most political desicions are made after taking into consideration the financial aspects of the problem that is to be solved and by personal experience i believe that the UN will not help you on your elections as this would mean more money to be spend for that purpose....
and yes bluecat, not all people are like you and me who criticise and analyze things that happen....most people don't care as they are brainwashed and turned into animals with tha face of a human, incapable of thinking and seeing this from a different point of view..they just accept the desicions others make for them, they live their lives happy just because another day has passed.....
to make a difference in your lives and subsequently in your nation you need more people like you blue cat and i assure you that there will be no need for the UN to help you control the electoral process....
i hope i made myself clear enough now;)
take care:)
NGOS:)
i've read the posts again and i have a question for you now
why instead of legalising cannabis don't they criminalise the use of tobacco since it is proven that it's harmful to the people who use it?
it's commonly known that cannabis has never killed anyone (the lethal dose for a man is to inhale the smoke produced by 100 pounds of bud), and yet it is illegal to smoke the herb.....
it's politics and money, bottom line, that controls our lives, not common sense....politicians use their common sense when they are in need for it, when they want to jump into quick conclusions and need not to analyse any further the situation....it's the money that controls BUSH, so don't blame him, blame the people who voted on him and they are clearly supporting him, BUSH is only a puppet here
the real players are invisible behind him, he's just their representative, their employee....i am reffering to all those various lobbies that are controlled by industrialists, bankers etc...it's them who make the big bucks and BUSH will make some money as well, under the table of course;)

There needs to be support for the legalization of marijuana,on both sides of the political spectrum,as such,I should be even more welcome here..than not.
Have a good one...
Hey Newgroweroldsmoker.....sorry for the mix up :D
Thank you for the shot in the arm....You made me smile.
It is nice to hear comments like that when it seems like the puritans are winning.... *blows kiss* ;)
Making tobacco illegal....is a great idea...if they won't legalize cannabis then lets take away their cancer sticks and see how those fat ass senators feel then. :D
As for you Torog.....you have just more tiresome *yawn* excuses for backing the asshole that is doing everything to CONTROL our rights.....
In your own words you said that you put your support for Bush over legalizing cannabis....
So IMO you don't belong here. Go light one up with the republican party.
Really, pretending to be cool is not your forte...
Torog have you dun burnt your brain on drugs?
The corporations and underground sociesties in the political structure have decided freedom is obselete. Do not join the milatary it is very possible you will have to do some things you'll regret.
