most doctor offices and hospital will give u nicotine gum for free. even if ur under 18

34 hours without a cig. Im holding in so far.

I use to go to the candy house and buy my dad rum balls when he was trying to stop...lol
My sis stopped...she smokes weed and said it helped to calm her down while she was quitting. She has been off them 2 years now.

Are you using patches or pills or anything?
I hope you make it, with all my heart, I really do.

Great to see this thread. I am also planning to quit. Been smoking since 16, and am 35 now. I quit during both of my pregnancies, and unfortunately started up again. My mom quit on April 1, and hasn't had one since--although she's putting down the lollipops like no tomorrow!

I don't know when I am going to quit--I'll wait until the kids are back in school. 2 little ones screaming around ALL day EVERY day isn't very favorable for kicking the habit!
