All I would like to say is that before we can hope to have everyone smokin' in our life times, we need to fix our vocab. For starters, refer to it as "re-legalizing" instead of "legalizing." It gives more emphasis on the fact that it was once legal already and the government has gone back on it. Seeding more doubt in the government. That is what we need, more doubt in the government policies. The WTO thing is a good start.
federal government has little power over the state gov as state has little power over city...medical marijuana is illegal in the federal gov' but california and other states still use it and cali even has medical coffee shops...Quote:

the current govenor of alaska is trying to decrimilize it again but is haveing no luck...you can have up to 4 ounces for receational purpose in the privacy of your home.... Ann Arbor, michigan has basically decriminlized it too...only a 25 dollar fine if your caught with it... there is a petition going around Michigan that will dicrimenlize it for people over 21...same laws as alcohole...
it will be on the 2006 ballet
so basically if a city or state wants to over rule a federal law it can do soo with enough support form the residents and councils..
hence the reason we're called a democracy :)Quote:

but my question is... what states have legalized it, all in all?
i believe Alaska is sitting alone right now.. but in less than five years a couple more will follow...California, Nevada, Michigan and more....once the republics no longer have controll of the 3 houses things will change... states wont have constant pressure put on them to inforce such laws
its hard to beleive but we do have a bright future, once the generation of the 80's get up to their parents age.. It'll leave the hippies of the 60's and 70's and their chldren.. And pot will be legal..
The world would suck if everyone was stoned, because nothing would get done. Pot would also not be as good no more because the high wouldnt be as good because you could do it so much that your tolerence would go up so you would need harder drugs. Also it will never be legal because the government get money for bustting punks like us for growing and possesion.
So you're saying you would go out with an oz or somehting, smoke a joint and on your way home you got busted. I think you wouldnt say the same thing bro....

I dont know about you, but i get more shit done when im blazed than sober... look how many actors, athletes, even politicians, and everyday people who work 40 hrs a week, blaze.. shit would get done!
"pot wouldnt be as good anymore because you could smoke it all the time" HA!! ive been smoking for 7 yrs now, for 3 yrs straight i had bud at anytime, smoked atleast a 1/2 8th a day for those 3 yrs, and found i still like weed, it still gives me a good high, am I doing harder drugs, no....
your doing alot of generalizing/stereotyping there BuB
True that. I remember back in my school days I always smoked up before class's and I got TONS of my work done and good too. Sounds aqward but true.
PS. You can take a weeks break from smoking it for your tolerance level to go down and then smoke a doobie and say ABRAKADABRA.
