Do most cannabis users quit alcohol?

i drank before i smoked but never got drunk before i got stoned. if that makes sence :p

i definatley drink a lot less than i used to before i started smoking pot regularly. when u have bud alcohol just seems so pointless.

i am an alcoholic more so than a pothead, and i'm an everyday smoker when i've got the stuff....alcohol is so fuckin addictive, i wish i had the willpower to quit, but even through a DUI in december and suffering its consequences, here i am, drinking Kentucky Gentleman bourbon at 1:35 in the middle of the day, and I started drinking at about 11:30, and i'm still typing flawlessly...pot definitely lowers my need for alcohol, but alcohol increases my need for pot exponentially

i started drinking first, and i drank pretty often, 2 or 3 times a week up until i started smoking the leaf. now i only drink once in a while (like once a month or so) but i smoke pot once every 3 days (well almost everyday now but thats cause its summer :D)

i drink whenever i can except sunday (can't get alcohol on sunday in SC)..probably 4 or 5 times a week, and i'm not talking 2 or 3 beers either....beer just pisses me off or makes me puke if i actually do get drunk on it...used to be my favorite, don't know what happened....it's not a cool thing though, it's a result of dependence, and like i say, if i ever can muster up the will power, i'll be quitting altogether

I never drank much anyway, but so long as i have bud, I dont drink. (except at parties and shit, or somtimes after I trip, just to calm down and to stop the rushing thoughts.)

Same here, jadeius. Well, not impossible if there are other stoned people..but if its like tons of drunk people and im not drunk, I will usually drink because its no fun being not drunk. I did realize I have drank a huge amount less though, and it will probably get to the point where i will have one or two beers or mixed drinks occasionally. There was a month and a half where all I had was White Russians, and only like two every couple of days. It was fantastic.
