I do agree ghost (about how illegal immigrants should be paid an equal wage)but what happens to an economy when there are too many people entering it at a large rate. I think in some ways immigration helps keep the economy stable. Although if society were converged that problem would be erased as the whole planet would be able to provide for the cause (tell me if this is going anywhere lol).
Armed forces are always needed as there is always malicious activities occurring but not aimed at countries where most of the people are innocent. If all countries were united this wouldnt be a problem.
I dont think society will be united for a long time (if ever) because there are too many nationalistic people, governments are too scared (fear of economic collapse etc), and lets face it society in general fears change (its human nature). Good idea but like other ideas to improve an areas (world, city, country etc) situation it needs a perfect society to work (capitalsim and communism are example of good ideas without the recognition that people arnt perfect).

yeah, i see what youre saying, dudes.. I know we NEED armed forces and and I know that under the circumstances, there probably should at least be SOME restrictions on immigration... it just upsets me, thats all. Like I said, the Earth should be a free place! :D
PS.. Britain has extremely open borders, thousands and thousands of immigrants coming here every year, and we dont seem to be doing too badly because of it :)

I dont consider myself a sheep. Do I obey societies drug laws? No, far from it actually. I do belive you are right in somes ways, society (the government mainly) sets restrictions which limits our space to think freely, but to get by and stay alive in this system you have to follow it to some degree. I do a lot of what I want to do. Most of the laws that were created are there for public safety (murders, rape etc).
I follow the rules that are basic common sense, if I want to take drugs I will, and no government is going to stop me (unless they throw me in jail etc). If negative attitudes such as the one you are displaying continue society will forever remain the same. Most of worlds problems could be solved if people would start waking up and thinking for themselves.
AND Im not bitching btw, hence the smile after what I said, so stop tryin to pick an arguement. The world is starting to wake up to its governments (although more action is needed) and its people like you that prevent progress because they give up and hold negative attitudes. Yes the economy is depleting our lives and natural resources but if society woke up and started questioning that it wouldnt be so common.
I am a free thinker and proud of it. I decide what occurs in my life, not the government. So I say "FUCK THE MAN!!!!!". :D
