Really hope I get to see legalization within my lifetime. I think we have made some great strides and really think Colorado is one of the States leading the way. We're lucky to be living here. I talk to my friends back East and I'm dumbfounded by the attitudes/beliefs of the general population there.
Damn, 28 Percent!!Quote:

And I disagree that THC% is a worthless stat! Quite the contrary! When you go in a place like PURE that tests multiple strains you can see the buds improve as the THC goes up. Some of the most psychoactive ("medicinal") buds I've smoked were ones tested at >20% like the Bruce Banner. I got much less medicinal effect from buds in the 8-10% range.
I do think that people overestimate the amount of THC in buds though. Everyone thinks that good bud has to be at least 25% THC when in actuality that quality of bud is damn hard to find in dispensaries. Buds at 12% THC are not bad by any means... you just take a few more hits and you're at the same spot!
I think it's the seed companies who started this garbage by claiming a certain strain would yield a certain percentage of THC...
I didn't know that Colorado was the state most in favor of legalization in the recent poll. I'm glad to be living around progressive people.:jointsmile:Quote:

here's some interesting stuff alexander shulgin wrote on the subject.

keeping in mind that the discovery of cannabinoids/ cannabinoid receptors is pretty recent, I imagine there is much to learn from this sacred herb..
here's the wiki article I found about cannabinoids
