PPM has been climbing, and the H2O has been disappearing as quickly as I can let it sit (for Cl dissipation purposes.) Pistils are visible, anywhere from 2-8 per node. I finished my first week of flowering tuesday, so hopefully growth is right on track.
Noob question. My lights go out at eight A.M., which is usually before I wake up since I work late. When I do wake up (around ten A.M.) I usually turn on my light for a quick five minutes to examine growth and what-not. Is this bad? I didn't think it would be harmful, but then I realized maybe the plant is considering it all one light cycle, which would put it over 12 hrs. Any advice is gladly accepted.
Now for some vague pics.
The one with all of the leaves is usually what I trim every day from the top of the plant to allow light penetration.
I think I mentioned this earlier, but I have decided to not make this a scrog, as I am still getting used to the growth of the plants (since this is my second grow.)
I also forgot to mention that both JTR's turned out to be female (whew.) They are a little slower in showing signs than the AK's were, but I'm sure it was because AK's are "fast flowering." Also when I switched light cycles and bulbs, They grew a lot vertically, and seemed to stretch quite a bit. Is this normal? I'll update more pics in a minute.
Thanks again
More pics of stretching and the forest. I can't even really move them anymore.
looks great:thumbsup:
Got out the pocket microscope today. They are very vague pictures and took me many tries to get them as "clear" as they are. Pictures were taken on a phone lol.
Anyway, pic one is the top of a top. The white strings are either incoming pistils or normal hairs associated with growth, as the ones on the bottom sides of the leaves.
Picture two is of the incoming trichome development. As you can barely see, they are still quite clear, but it's a good sign anyways.
I took these pictures merely for the entertainment of those who would appreciate them. If you're here to tell me how shitty my camera is, you can shove off anyways, as I'm probably doing more to show the development of these plants than you are, and have little time to worry about camera settings and other pointless shit.
As always, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is always appreciated.
Enjoy:rastasmoke:
P.S. Hopefully stretching will end soon, as I can't raise my light anymore, and I'm looking forward to bringing you guys some pics with some REAL results.
keep up the good work and those pics arnt bad just cant waitt to see them in a few weeks:thumbsup:
Turns out one of the JTR's were a male. Here's a pic. Cut it down today, and Tuesday will make week 4 in flowering. Lots of pistils coming in, and everything is filling out nicely.
I bet the remaining three will appreciate the felling of the male JTR. Now they have a little bit more room to stretch :D.
Forgot to attach pic of male flowers.
Well, today makes week four of flowering, and I'm here to show results.
