OK.... I pollenated one of the 3 ladies with the male..... at least I hope so, and hopefully the other 2 ladies will remain virgin. ;)
In case anybody is wondering, the one I pollenated was taken outside where the male was, the male was cut down and shaken all over the lady, then disposed of. I created a small yellow pollen cloud all over the lady. Left her outside overnight, washed her off good with water, let her air dry... now she is back under the lights with her sisters.

Keep it simple, its a weed.....
I start the seeds in 4 inch pots with MG potting soil. after a week and a half they need to be transplanted into 5 gallon buckets, again filled with MG potting soil. I am using CFLs for lighting, and use a box fan for ventilation in the cab. When the lights are on, the temp inside the cab is 80 - 82F.
If you read the entire thread, there are pics and discriptions.

hey Steve, your plants look yummy! I don't see that anyone answered your question about how to tell when the plant with seeds is ready; maybe you found the answer somewhere else? I suggest that you check the color of some of the seeds. If they are all still white, they are immature and won't sprout. You need some that have turned brown/black/speckled/etc. Those are the little mommas that will grow for you.
Good job man!
I was also very interested to read your grow log because: most ppl on this board seem to suggest that plants be transplanted from one tiny pot to the next almost-as-tiny pot. Then they end up at harvest with a few grams per plant. But you ... you went straight from popping the seed into a 5 gal bucket, and you end up with many oz per plant. (And under the lowly CFL, to boot!) I guess I'm lovin' it because this is the way I've always done it, too. LOL :rasta: Hey - you end up with more of the good stuff, is there any other point to the exercise? I've been trying and trying to understand why they recommend doing it the "tiny pots" method, still don't get it.

Thanks man as i needed the answer about the seeds myself:thumbsup: But as to your question about re potting. The more i re pot the faster i see the plant grow and builds a better canapy for catching light, but at the same time i believe ya do what works for you. Know i need to go back and read the first page, lol Rep given,
Very nice plant man. Very healthy looking and cfl's:thumbsup:i use em too,
