Looks nice to me. Gonna follow very closely. Will help me decide how and what I will grow in S. Ca.! The heat boiled tomatoes on the plants last year in Aug. This year is so mild, I could kick my butt for not having a grow. Was under 80 degrees here yesterday. Hope it stays that way.
In my garden grows, I have learned, they tend to do better with filtered sun during the extreme heat. Not sure what it will do with mmj.
Subscribed! Thanks for sharing. Hope you are feeding it to your mom! pr:thumbsup:

luna, all of your plants are lookin' sweet! I especially enjoyed the picture of that flowering Swiss Miss! I cannot get my fill of pistils! She looks like she is going to produce some pretty sizeable buds too. Have you ever thought about lst'ing your long-necked ladies?
Most importantly though, I am sincerely happy to hear your mom is cancer free! That is incredible news, and it truly made my day!
Keep up the outstanding work on those plants!

Yeah this mild Aug has been great. I'm inland so we have been in the 90s. Even with a fan going through out the day and keeping the GH door open it still gets pretty hot and humid in there but mmj handles it well. You're right about the filtered sun in the past when I had the greenhouse where it got direct sun for most of the days the plants would be obviously stressed by the heat. I think what is most important in dealing with the heat is to make sure your plants are at least 2' before the heat really kicks in.

A Royal Guard from the Royal Order of Hemp or as others might call them a praying mantis who happily lives in the GH protecting the girls from any invading hordes(G)

Them mantis are nice insects and are friendly to humans usually. I know of a guy who picked up a mantis on his head and rode home on his motorcycle with it on his cap. He then got a great photo of him and the bug mugging for the camera. unreal.
Nice grow log here, Lun.

Thanks Shov I love these little suckers they are such trippy little bugs some kids on my street actually keep one as a pet. Between the mantis and decollate snails my grows do tend to be happier(G)

Hi All, New pictures. The first picture is the Swiss Miss harvest. I make cannacaps instead of smoking so I do keep some of the fan leaves and that's why they are not neatly trimmed.
The second is of my seedling and the rest are of the clones. One of the clones is just gorgeous while the third is such a strangly thing(G)

Lunarose,
I was going over your log and one thing surprised me is you harvested one plant already. Isn't it a little early to harvest for an outdoor grow? Sorry I did not go over the entire log but it hits me as a little odd for this time of the growing season.
Just asking, and nice plants by the way.

Thanks. The SM was 10 months old and on her second harvest. I had planted her last year in the GH as something of an experiment. While the GH kept her warm enough to survive the winter but it really screwed up her growth rate. She flowered for the first time early spring. That's why her buds are so small.
