This is the second female.
It looks to be mostly sativa, and isn't flowering as fast as the other 2. It also doesn't seem to be growing as vigorously, but it is also in a different sized pot and uses different soil mix.

And last is the hermie plant. Makes me so mad! I love the way this plant looks/smells. Reeks of a hash/diesel smell to me.
I'm just planning on keeping it with my other 2 girls and going through it every day and picking off male parts.
Also included is a picture of the plants in the box, it's pretty crowded in there at this point... hopefully they can make it another 5 weeks or so then there should be plenty of room for that sativa to finish after I get the other 2 out.
Let me know what'cha think!
That sucks Koala toes yo. But reading through your log has already given me a few ideas and insights that will help me in the long run.
As it stands I have 8 sprouts going from bag seed, and with my current setup, they are all doing VERY well.
I can only hope to land more Females than Males once I get through the Vegging stage.
Also, Miracle Grow All Purpose plant food contains these percentages of our plants necessary elements to grow. 15-30-15 which if I am not mistaken is exactly the +X nutrient you want for your ladies (and confused ladies) at this time
Keep at it.
Temps been getting a bit higher now that its warmer outside, It's about 76-82f during the day and 65-72f during night in my box. It's been a bit humid outside so it's been 45-55% humidity in the box lately.
Do they need to be lowered away from the lights or do they look ok? I haven't lowered them in almost a week, they seem to have slowed down growing taller.
Looks as if the bastard child got to parts of my females because there's a few swollen calyx's, but only the actual hermie plant itself looks like it has a good few seeds.
I've fed them a tea (feed-feed-feed-plain water) giving them about 3 days to dry up after each watering. I put some bone meal in a coffee filter, 1/4 strength Schultz 10-15-10 plant food, and a couple glops (about equivalent to a glob) of grandma's unsulphured molasses in a 3 gallon bucket with a air pump and let it brew overnight.
More!
And some farther away shots. It's pretty crowded in my box and I dread taking them out for water because I just want my buds to sit there undisturbed lol :hippy:
Also a couple little pieces I cut off to get to some hermies without getting the delicate pollen everywhere. I smoked like some pistils and some leaves with resin lol I just threw it in the bong and lit it up. Idk if it got me buzzed or if I just tricked myself into it lol. :wtf:

I really like this log, your plants are looking very nice especially for a cfl bagseed grow!
How many sockets are you using to power the spiral cfls?
This is very inspiring i think im going to have to make a couple boxes myself! You should really think about having 2 or 3 boxes that way you can be harvesting often, good luck w/the yield! you should get 2oz outta that box if all goes well, hope you get more though haha
With you next grow you should think about using some heavier nutes and different professional mixtures for the different stages of growth your plants go through, buds will be packin on more and more!
goodluck! toke on
nice plants, AliceD
I used any unsulfered molasses. Now I'm using animal grade from the feeds mill I work with. In a week and a half I'll be at the Port of Albany molasses terminal! LOTS of the sticky stuff.
Sho
If the hermie does pollinate the other 2 females, will the seeds of value to me?
AliceD, check out my active grow log. The dozen bubblegum hybrids are from feminized seeds from my last grow. So far, all fems, no herms. Growing fine.
Thanks for the replies :hippy:
I've become a little worried about one plant, the leaves are curly/droopy and the newer top leaves look very strange and theres not much resin on any of the leaves where my other 2 have resin all over the leaves.
The first 3 are the plant that worries me. The last pic is a different plant but the top of the cola seems to be doing the same thing. Maybe its heat stress?
