I love ice in my bong. We used nothing but ice from Sonic (an American fast food chain over here in the states) and its like nothing but brittle dime sized hail.... its was awshome.

PEs constitute of at least 500ccs of fluid in the lungs- the tiny amount of vapor entering your lungs from passing through snow is minimal, and is basically like breathing in a steam room, or a heavy fog.Quote:

Minimal amounts- THC itself is only .10% water soluble, so it's not a very large amount. That's not counting the other non-water soluble cannabinoids ect.
So when your smoking through a bong, would you even be able to tell the difference in the high from the loss of that .10%?
Maybe a tiny tiny bit, but I doubt it. The smoke is also passing through the snow/water at a very fast pace, so not much THC is absorbed anyway.
You absolutely would NOT be able to tell any difference. First of all, in order to notice a difference, you'd have to have the THC delivery titrated with the exact same weed in order to know if there really was any difference. Secondly, a bong allows much more smoke to enter your lungs, resulting in a much bigger high anyways, so .1% of THC lost would be absolutely undetectable
Sonic ice is awesome.Quote:

The snow won't remove THC (not any more than the water, as an expert already said above), but that wine mixture someone suggested does, it being alcohol soluable, and wine being anywhere from 8 to 16% ethanol. I'm starting to wonder if that should be viewed as a bad thing though, because of the number of people I've heard mention particularly mellow highs from using wine or spirits in a bong. Does anyone know if the other cannabinoids are more, or less, alcohol soluable, than THC? Cause if the alcohol reduces the THC without reducing the other cannabinoids you'd notice the qualities of those other chemicals more, and the high would be different, if perhaps marginally 'wasteful'.
For those who live in places where it never snows, there are ice shavers and sno-cone making machines that can produce a pile of very finely shaved ice that has many of the properties of snow. making a quantity of this and immediately putting it in the freezer until it's time to spark (or quickly transferring it to a bong), in theory, would be similar to a snow bong. Has anyone tried? Good idea or no?
Well that's reassuring, lol...Quote:
