U.S. VETERAN CUTS DOWN MEXICAN FLAG--BRAVO

you can say he over reacted, or not. fact of the matter, was a crime was commited... a very symbolic, and historic one. I think you have the right to fly any flag you see fit... but above the american flag is blasphemy or an act of war. I don't get caught up in race wars, but i can say, he knew he was doing somthing contreversial in the first place... most likely there is a pre-exsisting situation in the area.

We have freedom of expression, but if it is the consensus of the majority to not allow the flag flown in disrespect, than that has taken importance.

And yes, we are being invaded, and used by illegal mexican immigrants... i think it is definately time to step things up, and call upon mexico to police it's criminals, or the us public should withdraw tourism, and investments. We the people can solve our own issues

I like the fact that we got disgruntled vets. walking around with knives, besides the fact that this guy probly was diing to use it for more than cutting down a flag. Did he say anything to the people before walking up like that. . .Fight fight fight alway starting shit. Who the hell cares how you see the flags, uhhhh did you forget where you are? This guy was just stupid, he didn't really think about putting anyone down, I think it was more about galvinization. He didn't know Mexican's are the only ones not alowed to talk shit about the U.S. . .

You might be a.......if you want to go to war over a the way something is displayed. No wonder the Confederate flag is still in court rooms. . . .

I really hate the undertoned racism, the word "Mexican" has become a derogitory term. People use "illegal" like that law was around when your ancesters were being dumped in. . .you can thank the treasury dept. for this one, they got a ywo for one deal on Mexicans and Herb. I bet you can ask most hispanics (Mex,P.R.,gua, ect.) Americans, i don't want to put a race on blast, throw "meexican" at us like it's the "N' word. African Americans might not see it at that level, but I got history books going kinda far back, along with all the other people that came to this country to be used and slandered. The American dream has changed. . .for the people who already got what they want out of it. Now their are new prioritys for gain.

I wouldn't even hold up an American flag if I was in another country, simply out of respect. And if I was moving to that country, why would I be proud of a country I left? If that country was so great I never would have moved in the first place.

I mean is the mexican flag the only thing mexicans have to show in pride for their heritage?

Anyway, as for mexicans taking over, I'm okay with it, as long as they keep bringing their hot mexican latinas keep on coming over Jose! :D

The Mexicans did own the land now known as California.West Texas, New Mexico and and parts of Arizona. Spain stole it from them first then they won it back and then the Americans stole it from them again. Thats why I don't blame the Mexicans trying to come here and better them selves. And yeah they are trying to steal a little bit back but who cares? They are some of the hardest working people I've ever known and I enjoy working with them.

While an old western form of rascism is making it's way into mainstream society, we must not overlook something...

until the law about flag supremecy is retracted, it is illegal to do otherwise...
second, insulting the flag, is viewed by men, who lived most of their life in servitude to that flag, AND YOU AND ME... as a personal attack... i'm sorry but that is human nature...

BUT, if we had an inummerable amount of illegal invading people going into mexico, shit would of hit the fan a long time ago.

We cannot stand by while our society is watered down, by criminals... if they weren't criminals then they would immediately asked for amnesty, and had good reason to do so... the mexican government allows it to happen, under the guise of being unable to stop it (bs)

fact of the matter is, we now are being forced to give them rights we fought for, and they stole... we are forced to give them health care and education, we don't even get, and they stole...
