now, if i had a normal family, i would still be living at home because i'm going to school. i would stay at home til i was finished with school. i know how hard it is to live on your own; going to work and school at the same time would really suck, and i would probably just end up dropping out of school and spending all my time working to pay my bills, and then MAYBE going back to school in the future. i wouldn't want that for myself, so i would've just stayed with my mom til i knew i was financially secured and mentally prepare to live on my own. luckily for me the only bill i have right now is my phone bill. my boyfriend pays for everything here.
so yeah, to sum it up, don't feel bad for living at home. many people do it, and yeah it sucks having to listen to mom and/or dad for the time being, but they usually ease up as you get older, especially if they start to see that you're trying to do better for yourself, and aren't staying there simply because you want to be a lazy fuck. :]
