im in the pharmaceutical industry ;)
Right now, I work at Starbucks, and earn $9/hour. For where I am in life right now, it's decent, but in no way do I plan on working this job for more than a year, simply because I deal with way too many unappreciative asshole customers.
I'm going to be joining the military in May.
Very good benefits too. At least if you teach at a public school.Quote:

I worked for many years with some large companies making about the same amount of money for years..ya know 40k-70k a year and fucking pretty much hated all of them...cause they sucked up all my time, quotas to hit..blah.blah..
I had been thinking for years about getting out and starting my own business doing something that no one else does..so that is what I am doing..I am surviving, my customers are very happy with the service that I provide..I write my own schedule and I dont have a boss micromanaging everything by numbers..
WELL SAID.:thumbsup:Quote:

Hmmm....some of the happiest times in my life were when I had the least money. If I had a choice, of course I would rather have than have not...but, and this may come as a shock to some, the more money you have...the more disconnected you are to people and the crazier you get. There comes a point where you start to question if people are really your friends or if they're just there hoping for a handout no matter who they are. Find your passion and make it work for you. Yes, money makes things easier, but at the end of the day, all the things don't matter if you've killed your spirit to get them...
