yeah Im close to the boarder we got problems like that but we have always had problems like that in this area all the way back to the Aztecs taking sacrifices from around here to even before then. The big problems here are keep out buy the people but lots of little problems such as home invaders been shot, crack heads getting their ass knock out, and outsiders comming in trying to say their way of life is better that is my pet peev. Why cant I watch a cock fight how eles do you teach your kids sometimes the fight is to the death. You dont go to Espania and bann bullfights, violance is a part of life it is simple physics. There are a lot of things about the "latin" or "hispanic" culture that I don't agree with.
Personally, the U.S. culture and civilization is WAY ahead of most latin countries. they are great to visit or spend some vacation time but as far living there? they are very un-developed countries. i much rather have my children in the U.S.

thats true, but keep in mind that the reason this country is so developed is because of all the immigrants that come from all over the world, people in other countries such as India, China, Japan go to school and college there but then they come to the US because of offers they get from companies, if the US was to developed by itself, it would be a fourth world country. I'm sorry to say but the schools here suck, when i came here i was 12 and everything they were teachin i had learned like in second grade, im not even kidding, then i went to a privet school that was suppoced to be good but all they were teaching i already knew from way back, and then went back to public school for my junior year and i new all the stuff from when i was in 5th grade in Peru, and here is one more year of school than in Peru, right now my friend is going to college yet i still have one more year to go. If you don't believe me you can look up rankings of the countries, the US is way way down. So if your are proud of your country don't ever put immigrants down, because 1- you would not be here if it wasn't for immigrants, unless you are a native American, and 2- without immigrants the US would be but a fraction of what it is 2day.

You're right. the public grade schools here in the U.S. are horrible and half the students STILL don't graduate. lol
but if you have the money and want to pay for schooling, college or a university, the U.S. has some of the best to offer. what countries public school system is as "caring" as the u.s? from what i've heard the public school system in most countries is terrible.
and yes, this country was based on immigrants but that argument is played out.

That sucks. The rural Americans tend to be more gung ho and really conservative when it comes to these issues. Why do you think most of them are Republicans?! We in the north and the city are known as the "godless liberals". If you really want to piss them off though in a non violent way, take a King James Version Bible or Ann Coulter book and burn it right in front of their face. This is not about immigration. Violence is no excuse at all. That is terrible. You really tend to find that ridiculous shit amongst the rural bunch as opposed to liberals. Most Conservatives have a very backwards mindset. My grandmother still thinks it is fucking 1888 and believes that homosexuality is wrong because it says so in the Bible. They were prejudice before too.
No offense, but most Latin Americans look the same, at least to me. If I saw you, I would probably think you are Mexican. But I would not give a shit. I'm a peaceful and accepting person.
I do not hate groups of people at all. I am not prejudice. It is what you do that reflects the quality of your character. An asshole is still an asshole.

While it's awful to spit on someone, well, to do anything like that because of race, is horrible, I can sort of understand the accent thing. I mean, it may not just be because shes Hispanic, but just because it's funny. I mean, I make fun of my own Dad's Spanish accent.

its not an opinion its a fact, this country would die without immigrants, and as far as taxes go, immigrants who want to become legal (which is most if not all) pay taxes because it helps them get their citizenship when they ask for it, so in reality when it comes to taxes your government would much rather have us as citizens than actual Americans. just to be clear I'm not attacking you in any way, just spittin some facts for the peeps reading this :jointsmile:
