if you read some of the stories they can help you lead a good life and be a good person, im kinda lost as to if there is something behind it, like it would make so much sense if there wasnt and a bunch of people just made it up to control conduct and whatnot

true, but on something like this, you'd think if it were true it would be able to be proven true without a shadow of a doubt....

atleast to me if you have to question something of this magnitude, it's just more fuel to disbelieve it.
