Religion could be considered elitism, because, if you havn't noticed religious people often tend to think that their beliefs are correct and above those of others. Christian have also made the claim that they're religion and god was one and true, and being the majority in a free country such as america they think that acknowledgement of their god should be seen in school, court houses, inauguration prayers etc.

I would just like to make one last point. Name calling is for the immature. Insults have been hurrled by both sides and that does no one any good. pcychocat is really good at that. Just cause you dissagree with someone doesn't make them inferer to you. Also the discussiones get no where. I would in no way describe myself in that way , my political standpoint is more right wing than anything else.
Yet I do not for one minute believe the US has anyone but their own interests at heart .
Bush and his military intelligence (oxymoron if ever there was one) got it wrong and started a war on a "percieved" threat , does that mean that if I think someone wants to harm me I can kill them??
I don't consider myself better than anyone but then nor do I ever feel inferior.

I'm not obsessed with liberals, I'm just aware of the damage that they are trying to do to family values,their exploitation of children and their desire for a socialist country,I'm aware of their opposition to religion-Christianity,in particular,their loathing of America and the military,their consorting with the enemies of the Free World,etc.

As for President Bush,it is his sworn oath,to protect the interests and safety of America and Americans,as it is,for all presidents. If he believed that Iraq,or someone or something in Iraq,was a threat,then he acted accordingly..with unanimous approval,from all 15 members of the UN Security Council. Bush would have acted without approval-if he didn't have time for their approval-because that is his job to do so.

You think that the president shouldn't act on percieved threat..that he should gamble with American lives..if you thought that a hundred thousand Americans were going to die,if you were wrong and the percieved threat became a reality,would you tell Americans,that before you will act to protect them-that the enemy must strike the first blow ?

Im still not too sure about this "liberal media"...for example I live in a blue state and recently on the local Fox news they were doing a story about how a school in my state wants to start random drug testing on students. They let all the concerned soccer moms have their say, and then let the ACLU have its say...however, the representative of the ACLU could only get in a couple words before they got cut off.
