Reb you need some hippie bling. Go get you a big ass thick hemp collar and some tribal earrings, rep the cannabis culture, word.

So, how much money are those necklaces?
Who actually makes those necklaces? Chanel and Dior they're not. Seriously. Not even close.
Not even distant.
This thread shows just how awful this forum has become.
Yeah that's the thing; they are so obviously fake that they end up looking more trashy than stylin.Quote:

So I guess it depends on the look you are going for... punk-trashy-tongue-in-cheek sure.... ONLY if you can pull that shit off as a joke, though.
ouch....
Hey, what can I say, I'm not trying to be all snotty or mean, I'm just saying that when the only thing that matters is the LABEL, the substance suffers.
Remember, those companies became famous because they had beautiful workmanship... once long long ago, you could go to Abercrombie and Fitch and buy beautiful fly fishing equipment and hunting clothes that would last forever... now you can buy a cheap hooded sweatshirt made in Taiwan that says Abercrombie on it... it means NOTHING.. only that you are a sucker.
You want a nice quality purse, go to a leather shop that sells no-name handcrafted Italian stuff. You will pay a hundred bucks instead of 300, and the thing will look good forever. My Italian crocodile-embossed mahogany leather briefcase and matching tiny handbag are 5 years old, but look as good as the day I got them, treated annually with mink oil, and they have never gone out of style. They were expensive, and look expensive, but the overall cost was nothing compared to what they would have been had they borne that Vuitton logo or whatnot.
I rarely see adults flaunting labels. I wonder why. Why do the beautiful 60's style Dooney and Bourke bags that older women prefer over the logo ones bear only a small brass duck somewhere discreet? It's something to think about...
End of rant. New rant to follow shortly, or whenever I feel the urge. Thanks for tuning in.
Cat Fight...
