don't let me discourage your decision, but imo, quitting for a girl is kind of retarded... i mean, someone that you plan to be with should accept you for who and what you are, not want you to change just to fit their wants, atleast over something like that (now if you were going around beating old women :p that'd be a bit diffrent)

anyways like i said, don't let me influence your decision, do what YOU want/feel is right... i was just stating my opinion on the matter (the wife at first kept asking me shit like when was i gonna grow up and stop smoking, to get her off my back i'd giver her some time frame, eventually i was done with it and just said i'm never gonna quit... she still loves me :p)

i hope if we do break up that it wont turn into something ugly.
