in texas you have the right to shoot someone for being on your property (although to win in court you would probably have to give the dickhead warning to leave the property or have a "private property no tresspassing sign up)....that law probably came about in the farming/ranching days when people had to protect their shit....but you're all forgetting one thing....he's 15 and probably doesn't have a gun...ontop of that the judge would have probably told him (if he had shot the dude) that he should have gotten his parents instead of taking things into his own hands because the law seems to thinkt hat if your under 21 you can't make decisions for your self but as soon as you turn 21 the exact day you have all the right to make decisions...i would say 18 but you can't buy booze at 18 'least not in texas...now to the dude who got his babies taken.....if i were you i would be the most suspicious of the friend thattold you he saw someone cuz he was probably trying to (assuming that he told you before you knew) make a cover story for his ass (or if you had confronted him) a simple old lie to keep his ass out of boiling water....when there's weed....trust no one....lol i know it sounds bad but some ppl are serious addicts and just chase the high (don't actually enjoy the smell taste and all that) and they will not think twice before theiving. doesn't matter how close of a friend you think they might be
