Now it all makes sense! I have been catching myself trying to jam things into my arm lately ( a turkey baster, the gas pump, a meat thermometer (98.2 BTW)). This marijuana is truly an evil weed!

Wow I actually thought there was some new proof. Old tricks, new face..meh. Waste of my time. Ol' gate way theory eh? lol I love it. Well at least they admit that marijuana isn't really harmful lol. I think if someone starts smoking weed then moves on to heroin, etc., he is either predisposed to bingeing on substances or there is some sort of mental trauma or insecurity that he is trying to escape at more extreme degrees the older he gets.

Some people also have a natural high tolerance for any type of inebriation. I remember being 13 or so and needing more of the pot or the alcohol to get to the same point as others (kids, don't drink).

I will say that mj can be addictive and does alter brain activity. That's what makes a drug a drug. Coffee is the same; different brain activity, different mood, etc. You can be addicted to coffee or mj, the difference is, they are mild substances, with mild temporary effects and mild long-term effects, and you can easily support those habits and live a normal life. The nature of a drug like heroin is one that makes it more difficult to support the habit and still function like everyone else.
