Who would sell thier soul...

I once sold a kid in high school a signed piece of paper that said "my soul" on it for $5. Apparently this kid was credulous enough not only believe in souls, but also to believe that these souls can be transferred into pieces of paper. Man, people can be gullible.

Spirits and ghosts and souls and crap like that are not real, people. All my thoughts and emotions and memories are stored in this thing called my brain which, when I die, is going to stop working and decompose like the rest of my body. I don't get to live forever and neither do you. It's nothing more than wishful thinking; there is no mechanism by which the information stored in my neurons could possibly outlive my physical body. Once my sense organs stop working and the meat computer in my skull shuts down, that's it, game over. All the more reason to love this life while I still have it.

But if some superstitious person doesn't believe me and wants to pay some money for me to write "my soul" on a piece of paper, I'd be glad to sell that to them. I can always use an extra few bucks. Caveat emptor.

I dont think its possible for someone to actually own ur soul...Since ur soul is ur physical and mental definition of who you are.

That being said id prolly go for anything between 100 and 150 dollars

I'd sell my soul to satan for 3 things:

1. World Peace for eternity

2.Infinite ammount of money

3.Supernatural powers like flying kinda stuff and throwing some fireballs with my bare hands, that would kick ass

but until then this is what i beleive

your soul is the life force that initiates life... how else do you think life started? water particles just magically came to life or what?

your "soul" contains everything people see as "heart" "courage" an all that kinda shit, basically every good quality humans have (a "soul" is a 100% PURE life force) and your "personality" is pretty much everything else, and not necessarily all bad things either

when you die your physical body & your personality disperse and their energy is spread out and dispersed into the environment (nutrients etc. into the soil/to other living things, thoughts, ideas, and emotions to others around you) while your soul will find another home (i.e. similar to reincarnation)

im native american so i see a "soul" as more of a "spirit" but basically the same concept, and native beleifs are that everything has a spirit, even non-living things (natural things at least) such as lakes, rocks, and living things, all plants animals & humans have them


so to answer the question, if i were capable of selling my soul... it basically be like slavery, somebody else would OWN you
