I just went to the canadian bloodbank's website to see if I could give blood. Drugs don't even seem to appear in the criteria section, they just want to make sure you're not sick. But oh man, their site said they take a HALF LITER of blood. That just seems frightening to me, when I had my nose surgery last december and lost a decent amount of blood, maybe like only a 1/6 of a liter, I was in shock the whole night I was at home. Felt kind of like after just recovering from being electrocuted, I was shaking a bit, my jaw couldn't stop harshly chattering, and when i smoked a joint I started hyperventilating and barely kept from blacking out.
So yeah, I'm not giving away any 1/2 liter...:eek:
