For those of you who do not know there are different strains for differents pains and different strains for the time of day and conditions you are able to medicate in. I would have to rate 10 out of the 12 dispensaries I visited to have very knowledgeable staff, high security, and quality medication. I think the good business models will succeed and the bad ones weed themselves out (pun intended). Good luck to all who have it together with their business models. I find that the dispensary model that appeals most to me ( and probably most adult patients) does not include a neon pot leaf in the window. I prefer a more like a clinic (but not cold) environment.
Here's my best experience.

Discrete signage outside or on door. I was greeted by an attractive young lady at the front desk after being buzzed through a security door. She took my Dr. recommendation and drivers license for proper identification. They had a large comfortable waiting area with reading material and water available. The budmaster met me and asked what I was interested in, what my conditions was, what type of work I did, what type of medication works best. After about a 8 minute conversation he helped me select several different strains. He was careful with the medication, respecting that it is expensive and needs to be tended carefully. Also the weights were on the heavy side about 4 grams. (1/8 oz. = 3.5 grams) and only charged me the 1/8 oz. price. They were courteous, knowledgeable, didn't rush me (I probably smelled at least 30 different varieties), and were reasonable priced.

Highroad, you've got some goofy receptionist on your phones that is probably turning away tons of business. I've called Compassionate Pain Management of Louisville, Colorado at least 3 times for a doctors appointment and a few questions and she's been completely confused and hasn't answered one.
Then, I tried to set an doctors appointment (3rd time) for the $79 special per your front webpage and she denied it was even there. She said it was a mistake. I told her it was brand new dated Jan 12th, 2010 and she again denied it. Then, she made up an additional $70 charge out of the blue pushing the cost up to $150. Is she pocketing the extra $70?
I'm sitting here hurting for meds and will have to go all the way into Boulder now to get a referral.

I like C-3! I don't love it. They have the new counter open and now have a security guard named Clay...I think. It is still a SLLOOOWWWW process with them. I went on Friday around 5:30pm. We had to wait outside the room while it cleared out. When we got it, there were still 12 people crammed in there. 6 of these people were trying not to roll their eyes as Ricky lectured them about their responsibility as a CMMJ patient. He is a pain in the ass. Bu, he does enjoy giving out samples of edibles and tinctures to patients that "aren't driving." He needs to shut-up about the ethics and responsibilities of the patient. By this I mean...don't quiz me on how I should carry my meds when I leave the building. That is none of your business, and quite frankly it slows down an already way too slow process. We have our license...you seen it...shut up and weigh out my meds. It took me 35 minutes to buy an 1/8th. I could have went to my old dealer bought an 1/8th (tax-free), smoked a bowl, and been on my way in the time it takes Ricky to advise me on taping my license to the bottom of my door mat to ensure the cops won't bust open my door. He is a great guy, doing great work, but enough is enough. In regards to the product...everything I have ever gotten from them is great. good prices. Great care-giver discounts. I have noticed a lack of smell from C3's buds...until I get it out of their dispensary and into my house. Most of the dank I have bought from them is super stinky. However, in the dispensary it all smells like hay to me. I guess it is the super concentrated aroma the place has all the time. It neutralizes the individual strain smell. I am no expert, but I think C3 is top-notch...with a few minor kinks. It could be great if the staff was improved. Grade: B

If you're ever in Longmont, make sure to avoid the blueberry twist, not because they only have 5 or 6 strains, but because you will end up paying 20 a gram(70 an 8th LOL) and on top of that it will be WET, not soaking wet, but the stems won't snap, and it doesn't burn 100%. Not to mention the tard or bud tender will squeeze off a bud until it's flat and stick it in a little baggie for you :D I've never felt so fucking ripped off in my life, the strain I bought was "it's cousin". It looked good but paying for water weight is fucking bullshit. I seriously hope they go out of business.

They have chocolope at C-3...it is really great. It has a rich, coffee-chocolate flavor. Smooth and tasty (especially with the hemp wick.) It packs a nice body high and stays with you for 1-1-1/2hrs. Nice strain! $50-1/8th.

Recently got some chocolope from Delta 9. Not sure if it was from the same grower, but I just loved it.
Very upbeat high, just what I wanted, allowed me to focus and enjoy. Great day time smoke.

picked up some cough, heavy duty fruity, grape ape, and some pink kush from delta 9 a few days ago that was just perfect. (woot no wet uncured nugs for once.... although maybe just a tad too dry for my likeing but dry is always better then wet :rasta: ) if you don't like paying for water weight check this place out... just save some meds for me lol
