Yep. If they want more patients they're going to have to offer something in return for the right to grow my 6 plants. Why in the hell would you make these guys your caregiver and get ~$55 eighths, when there are well known dispensaries around here where you get $30-35 eighths for giving up your right to grow plants.
KINGMINUS, can you give me some recommendations? I'm right at that point where I've been spending $60/8th just to try all of these places and I'm realizing I'm spending WAY TOO much on meds...

The reason street dealers charged $50 is because they could lose their "FREEDOM", which you cant put a price tag on. Weed is plant that grows easily, it should be cheap. If you grew your own for the dispensary, you would make a lot more $$ and be able to charge a lot less. To me, Just the fact that it is legal know, means the price should drop at least %50. More and more people are gonna start growing their own, and there will be less need for dispensaries. Why go to a dispensary and pay $60 and eighth, when you can just call up a buddy and get one for $40. Or just buy a light for $400 and grow you own for free?
Sounds like you should do exactly that, go elsewhere or grow your own. Buying it off the street is actually legal as long as you have your card. Its not legal for the dealer, but who cares as long as you're getting a good deal, right?

I've gone through 15+ pages and was hoping for a review (good, bad or ugly - I have confidence in what we're doing).
You asked so here you go...
Your place is very clean, professional and nice. Lots of security, which I appreciate. Staff seemed pretty friendly, although I've read some reviews elsewhere that mention some pretty unacceptable behavior from the staff.
I don't have time to go into detail but will soon as I've been meaning to post up a bunch of new reviews, including one on this shop.
Bottom-line, the prices are way to high for average meds. I didn't see a single strain that I thought, WOW I have to have some of that. I actually left empty handed which I rarely do at dispensaries.
I'm a pretty big snob though. But shit man, if I'm paying top dollar I'd better be getting top dollar meds!

It is legal if the dealer has their medical card. I do go elsewhere, ive never even been to that place.

Hopefully patients in Louisville have other dispensary options rather than Compassionate Pain Management. Eighths starting at $20/gm! Competition will snub them out.
Highroad, you complain that your operational costs are the reasons that you charge so much, correct? Then let me ask...why are so many other dispensaries operating on smaller budgets and have much lower prices? Do you even grow your own? Are you a re-seller, and therefore, have to jack your prices up to make profit?
I will travel that far for the only the BEST, but only if I'm reading rave review after rave review and the prices are low. Factoring gas money (I live in Denver) and I'm looking at 8ths starting at $30 a gram! No thanks!

May I suggest you try C.A.M. on Broadway south of Evans or Delta 9. c.g. price is $43.01.

I can also say that C.A.M. and Delta 9 grow SOME of their supply, most is from vendors but the prices are very good, clean establishments, and professional, knowledgable staff. If they can do it why can't others?

Grams start at $14.30 for 1/8th price... ($50-$60/eighth - you know a dispensary is a little more expensive than a dealer - it comes with the territory of a selection and safety as well as consistency and timeliness)

Thanks for the honest review. We work hard to make your experience all that you have said it has been. Since you were there if not very recently, we've dropped the prices across the board thanks to many choosing to name us as Caregiver - including always having a $45 eighth and "Buy 2 grams, get 1 free" one day each week.
As far as medicine, we're all entitled to not find what we want that day. I've said it and I'll repeat it - by a mixed eighth ($14.30/g) and if you don't like it, I'll buy it back. (We, too, are snobs...)
All the best and thanks again for constructive criticism. Back to the dogs I go...

So.....you're prices went down, Highroad? If so, great.
And your competition isn't street dealers, its other dispensaries.
