If you can, go to Lowes or Home Depot (there might be ~$1 difference in price between them). I personally use the Bright Effects The ones in that link are on 20W, you should find 23W or higher in the store. The other day I just bought:

4-pack of 23W 6500K DAYLIGHT CFLs (best for vegging) for about $12
6-pack of 18W 2700K SOFT WHITE CFLs (best for flowering) for about $11.

I have separate vegging and flowering rooms, so I use the appropriate bulbs in each. I've lived in Michigan and Pennsylvania and the prices are the same, so I wouldn't imagine Ohio's prices would be any different. If they have multi-packs (i.e. 4 or more) with higher wattages than 23, get them; it's worth it, your plants will show their gratitude.

You'll also need a light fixture), 4 ceiling hooks, a couple pieces of chain at least 18 inches long each, 3 Y-adapters, an extension cord, and a piece of wood as big as the light fixture (a 2X4 that will fit in your cabinet)

- Drill a hole in the middle of the wood large enough for the wires to go through
- Install the light fixture onto the piece of wood, being sure to pull the wires through the hole.
- Flip it over so the fixture is facing down and wires facing up, and screw 2 ceiling hooks in the back, one on each end
- Screw the other 2 hooks into the top of your grow box/cabinet/whatever
- If you can't find a cord with the white, black, and green wires on one end, cut off the female end of the cord, and connect the wires from the light fixture to the corresponding wires in the cord (white to white, black to black, green to green)
- Connect the chains to the hooks

You now have a light fixture that you can move up and down as your plants grow

The shelf im using might not let me go tha way bease i have a 65W cfl that im putting at the top of this shelf i got that was used at B&N to shelve books. Its got a top shelf that im mounting the 65w on. Under that are 2 selves for a plant on each side, under each other. So its small. But it might help organize the cfl's tho. Id like to see your set up, if ya dont mind posting it on here. :thumbsup:

I made my first CFL fixture back in the day with cardboard and pigtail shoplight fixtures. Just pulled the reflector and clamp off. Could change up the light configuration easily by adding more pigtails or splitters. Pretty cheap lighting setup and had pretty good results with it. Pictures should tell the tale pretty well. Take care bro!

Thanks loads irydyum! Hey those pic's you posted are perfect for me to show the people what i want them to get for me. Sucks but im stuck out here in the boonies. I sent a person to wal mart and they told me that they didnt carry the y splitter. I know they got every piece you showed there. I can give them a visual now:thumbsup: thats if they will fit in what i have been planing on using to grow in. Its small but roomie. I think maybe 2 plants, but thats fine till i get enough lights to keep a few in veg. which would be a set up like you posted.

BTW sweet grow ya have going on:thumbsup:, but you havent been there for awhile, or you moved. Id love to see that big WW's buds. Iv never smoked WW before, but iv had WR and it kicked my ass. Thanks for stoppin by man:rasta:

That looks like some killer shit man, i cant wait to grow out the genetics iv gotten. I have been very lucky to get about 5 great strains to try out.

Not that my bag seed grow wasnt pretty damn good, but it puts me to sleep! I missed my Dolphins last night:wtf:. Its just after about 30 min. im crashed. Kinda sucks:wtf: I like it for sleep, but sometime i just want some pain relief without the crash:thumbsup::rasta:

You will probably want to harvest sooner, next time. The longer you wait to harvest, the more couch-lock the effect (i.e. the more amber trichomes develop). I like to harvest when there are very few amber trichs, cuz I like the cerebral high more than couch-lock. I lose a bit of yield by harvesting that early, but it's the high I want, and always have more growing, so quantity isn't much of an issue.
